The 6th annual Adder Rock Offshore Kayak Fishing Challenge is done and dusted! 2018 saw a heap of spirit shown by the paddlers, some good fish, plenty of laughs and a few misadventures, all making for a cracking weekend away over at Straddie. Despite Cyclone Gita hovering around off the coast somewhere causing a very solid swell forecast which made many surfers excited and scared quite a number of our 65 entrants away, the Australian Kayak Specialists Noosa Challenge sponsored by Davo’s Tackle World went ahead with surprisingly nice conditions greeting the 52 kayakers who showed up at Middle Groyne at 5:00 AM on Saturday. The Palm Beach Blitz 2018 Report The dust has settled and I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of those that attended the Palm Beach Blitz comp that we hosted on the weekend. AKS Coffs Challenge Report

For the second year running, the North Coast of NSW was visited by a number of keen offshore kayak fishermen for the Coffs Harbour Kayak Fishing Competition, hosted by Australian Kayak Specialists, Australian distributors of Stealth Kayaks. This year, the event took place over two days (Saturday and Sunday)  with competitors getting two five-hour morning sessions to paddle out and catch some scoring fish.
